Oral and Genital herpes

Herpes is a viral infection caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus and the two commom cause of herpes are oral and genital herpes. The outbreak of this disease is marked by blisters and sores that appear on the body and mouth. For oral herpes the diseases appear in the mouth, in case of genital herpes the blisters can be very painful with constant itching on the genital area or the rectum area.

Oral herpes is an infectious disease that can spread by touching, kissing, or sexual contact. If parents who is infected by oral herpes is try to avoild touching and kissing the kids. This oral herpes can passed from infected children to non-infected children. Oral herpes is usually not dangerous and can be controlled by treatment and preventive measures.

Genital herpes is transmitted sexually by the HSV-2 virus. The common genital herpes symptoms of this disease include blisters and sores around the genitals or the rectum area and can be transmitted from affected pregnant woman to her baby. For affected women taking anti-viral drugs like acyclovir can shortened the illness as there is still no cure to genital herpes.
